The successful candidate:

ONSITE - M-F 8-4:30PM PST

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL WITHIN PHOENIX

The Clinical Informatics Analyst provides expertise and support in the education, development, and enhancement of the electronic health record (EHR) related to clinical practice and documentation regulations of the legal medical record. Specific skills include the development and deployment of pertinent role-based training to end users, coaching and thought leadership to ensure that end users (including physicians, nurses, and staff members) can effectively use the technology and processes established by the organization. Knowledge of the legal medical record and documentation requirements for coding and billing support is a necessary foundation for success in this position. Successful fulfillment of the role demonstrates commitment to achieve goals and deliverables through leadership and relationship building to improve patient care using the EHR.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; BS or MS in Clinical Informatics preferred.
  • 3 + years hospital or clinical area experience required.
  • Must be licensed clinical user, registered nurse preferred.
  • 1-2 years electronic health care implementation expertise, Epic certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years clinical informatics experience preferred.
