Job Title: Utilities Technician

Seeking a multi-trades Utilities Technician to conduct utilities maintenance to join our team. Responsible for maintaining and repairing building facilities and utilities equipment.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • $4,000 Sign-on Bonus!
  • Will start on a Monday - Friday day shift schedule and eventually transition to a 12 hour 2/2/3 night shift schedule
  • An hourly pay rate of $38.85-$40.85

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

    • Plans & completes all preventive and corrective maintenance of all facility and office equipment to include but not limited to the following:Boiler water treatment, Boiler steam and condensate systems, Ammonia refrigeration system (chillers, rooftop units, cooling towers, air handling units, etc.)
    • Maintain reverse osmosis (RO) system and components
    • Monitor and control all wastewater recycling center equipment
    • Provides improvement project support as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience withmechanical, electrical, refrigeration, boiler, andknowledge of chilled water glycol systems.Refrigeration certification preferred. Ability totechnically maintain equipment. Technicalassociate degree or certificate preferred
  • RETA Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) certification required within 6-12 months of employment

SKILLS:

  • Ability to manage work ordersand review maintenance plans and optimize to drive reliability of equipment
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to maintain, optimize and improve production equipment, with key plant indicators such as safety, quality, cost.
  • Use of mechanical system - hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical drive systems
