We are currently seeking a Mechanic to join our Boart Longyear Sonic team based in Glendale, AZ.

Minimum Qualifications

* Typically requires a HS Diploma or equivalent

* At least 2-3 years of mechanical experience

* Knowledge in welding and fabrication skills preferred

* Knowledge of FMCSA rules and regulations preferred

* Knowledge of duplex and triplex mud pumps preferred

* Electrical experience or related certification preferred

* Able to list 50 pounds frequently

* Ability to work in adverse weather conditions

* Must be willing to travel to field locations across the US

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others

* Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

* Must possess own tools

* Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL

* Must be able to be MSHA/OSHA certified

Responsibilities

* Performing repairs on diesel powered hydraulic systems and machinery

* Diagnosing hydraulic problems in equipment with a quick turnaround for getting rigs back in operations

* Performing routine maintenance of equipment

* Working safely while meeting all compliance requirements

* Ability to work with little or no supervision
