Behavioral Systems Southwest (BSS) is comprised of a team of committed community correctional professionals dedicated to helping the ex-offender population break the criminal cycle and improve the quality of their lives through the use of cognitive behavioral change methodology. We accomplish this goal by providing comprehensive reintegration services to the ex-offender population in residential and non-residential settings. The services we provide focus on individual skill building, accomplished through individual and/or group activities, all the while focusing on staff development and professional growth in order to provide effective services to those we serve. BSS seeks to empower individuals by providing them with the knowledge and training necessary to address existing behavior issues, identify solutions to future problems, and live a productive, self-supporting, clean and sober, crime-free life.

HISTORY AND MISSION STATEMENT
Behavioral Systems Southwest (BSS) is a community corrections agency designed to address the criminogenic needs of the ex-offender population by introducing evidence-based, cognitive behavioral intervention.  Our mission is to help problematic people change their lifestyle.  Emphasis is placed on showing individuals how to lead a more productive, self-supporting, drug-free life, thus breaking the criminal cycle.

Because our clients have ultimately engaged in activity that resulted in the deprivation of their freedom, the skills BSS is committed to assisting the clients in learning are fundamental to their overall well-being, their ability to reintegrate effectively into the community, while displaying socially conforming behavior and activities.
